You’re welcome @Jaygo! What did you think?

@mssteel it was interesting. Because I share nothing in common with her. I found it hard to warm to her. I did feel for her from the cancer perspective though, and her vulnerability came through. I would have liked to see a bit more time spent on how it was for Graham, just to highlight the importance of a significant other’s role in this and how it impacts them. Partners do tend to get forgotten about. Seeing her return to filming right after an infusion was admirable, as many women have had no choice but to do that, but by the same token, I bet she doesn’t clean that 32 room house! I would be interested in reading her book though, where she might go into more depth, particularly about losing her mum which was tragic.

I actually preferred Amy Dowden’s documentary.

I loved it and I relate to Sarah’s personality, which is probably part of why I found it so impactful. Her straightforwardness and humour are two keys aspects of how I’m dealing with my own situation. I thought her family were incredible.

I loved the Amy Dowden doc too. I was disgusted to hear of the negativity she received for documenting her ordeal. Obviously from people who don’t understand how much these stories help others. I remember Deborah James receiving similar flack and she raised millions for charity!
