I am so happy, MRI, CT and Bone scan show no spread. Feel better knowing that my Op will be next week (full Mastectomy no reconstruction) seems strange celebrating but just want to get rid of my alien and get on with moving forward. The next step is getting over my fear of surgery, I haven’t been in hospital since having my daughter nearly 40 years ago and feeling quite anxious about it.
Chrissy H do speak to your team about anxiety they might be able to prescribe something to help. Also please remember your team have seen it all before and will take care of you do speak to your breast care nurse, they are there to support you and also do ring the number on here and speak to a nurse get things in place for post op so you can rest and recover, read up on your post op exercises, so you are familiar with them ready for post op to help you get your range of movement back
