Hi Angie
I had affected lymph nodes all of which were removed and I am just getting yearly mammograms, first one last month xx
Hi Angie
I had 2 positive nodes and my friend ,diagnosed at the same time, had 14. We have ‘only’ had annual mammo’s since, both of us treated at The Royal Marsden. We were diagnosed 11 years ago.
Hello, Angiepops. I am pretty certain I read in the Moving Forward folder I got from BCC, that there has not been any clinical proof that body scans after treatment, are of any benefit, and only cause additional and unnecessary anxiety to people.
I had three positive nodes, so after lumpectomy, full lymph node clearance, chemo and radio two year’s ago, I just have annual mammos.
Hope that helps.
