Scared and confused!!

I found a small lump in my breast yesterday and of course had the immediate ‘Oh no!!!’ moment and then 5 mins of trying to see if it would disappear. Since then I have been researching online and now am totally confused :frowning:
I am a strong and intelligent 54 yr old woman but today I am just a bag of nerves. I can’t get to my G.P for at least a week as my daughter is getting married and I am away making arrangements for the day.
I have read so much about benign and malignant lumps but it feels like I am reading gibberish as my mind can’t make sense of it. My lump is like a tiny blind boil under the skin on the upper inside quadrant of my breast. I am going through the menopause and my period (if it comes this month) is due towards end of the week. What do they mean by irregular shape and what do they mean by movable? I know these sound like stupid questions but with the wedding fast approaching I don’t want to worry any of my family. I am also aware that I hurt my breast a week or so ago when I was squashed between two metal delivery cages at work but I obviously don’t want to assume that this is the reason for the lump.
