Scared and new to BC

So scared as just had core needle bio of breast and lymph nodes. Lump is around 2cm which I can’t visualise as I’m still in metric.

Have to go back to hospital next week for results but the way the doctor and nurse were with me it’s pretty certain I have breast cancer. I’m not sure what to expect at my next visit. Can anyone enlighten me?

I also now have pain since they took cells from the lymph nodes. Is this normal?

During the visit the doctor said the may shrink the lump first but as I was on my own I didn’t pick up the detail. Is this normal?

Any contact with others suffering the same is appreciated.
