Scared - Pain and Bumpy Lump?

Hi, I’ve never signed up to a forum before so don’t quite know how this works! I have not been to the Doctor yet but have been experiencing pain in my right breast for about 3 weeks. The pain seems to be getting worse. Underneath my breast (same one) is really bumpy and if you press really hard (only done it once cus it hurts) is a harder lump. I am too scared to go to the Doctor, I am overweight and have big boobies (FF-G cup) so (although I know you can’t diagnose me) but could it just be fat gathering? Any advice more than welcome.

Hi Looby75

None of us can tell you what it is but its vital you get to your GP. 80% of lumps are nothing to worry about but if you dont get it checked, worry is what you’ll do. Let us know how it goes.

Hi Looby75

As Julia has said above, please do go to your GP as soon as possible and get it checked out, please don’t think you’re wasting anyone’s time.

I have also put for you below the link to one of BCC’s publications you may find helpful. If you need to talk to someone in confidence then the staff on the helpline are here for you. The helpline is open weekdays 9-5 and Saturdays 9-2 pm calls are free 0808 800 6000.
