Scuba Diving post ld flap Hi Everyone

I had a mastectomy for widespread DCIS 3 weeks ago with LD Flap reconstruction at the same time. Fortunately there was no evidence of invasion and the nodes tested were clear, so other than getting over the surgery, I have no further treatment to undergo.

I was optimistic about getting back in the water by at least September this year. I’m not sure how long all the numbness etc will last, though I understand it will be several months.

Is there anyone out there who has had this op and scuba dives. Come to that, what about other activities? I would love to hear of experiences of getting back to active normal life.
