I had second stage of reconstruction 10 days ago. All went well but find it hard to come to terms with yet another change to my body and the need to where a dressing for another 6 weeks. New nipple rather large - although I know they can shave down. It all just feels a bit relentless! Lipo filling did hurt and makes some difference in matching up with my ‘well’ breast but I think it would do more. Did anyone feel a bit mehhh after the second stage of reconstruction?

I had all of my reconstruction done at the same time as my mastectomy but I just wanted to let you know that my reconstructed nipple was really large at first but it did shrink considerably and is now just the right size to match my real one so don’t worry, I’m sure yours will shrink too.
