Second time TNBC diagnosis

Hi all,

I’m Tess and returning to this forum having been diagnosed with TNBC STAGE 1 Grade 3, (25mm) (LB) April 2023. I’ve had surgery (lumpectomy and SN) chemo started 20/06 4 x EC fortnightly, then 12 x weekly Paclitaxel with 4 Carboplatin.

First TNBC Dec 17. Stage 3 Grade 2 (RB) - chemo, surgery, radiotherapy throughout 2018. By the time of surgery there was no tumour left (was 65mm) so removed margin area and full clearance of LN. Was told best possible outcome.

Would really like to hear from other ladies of similar experience.

Dear Tess,

Sorry for the late reply, I’ve only just seen your post. I wanted to reply to you because I had something so similar to your cancer in December 17. at the beginning of lockdown which left me quite up in the air. I had a mammogram and a biopsy on and the radiologist was outstanding. She found a small cancer from there, I went on to have a lumpectomy and clearance after returning back to see my consultant. I was told that no there was no cancer found and then went back to my radiologist. Who assured me there was a cancer there however, like you I was told to go away not to worry they done the best I could for me, This did leave me in limbo for quite awhile, and I’m still not convinced

I’m so pleased you have come to the forum please keep posting, letting us know how you are getting on I would like to wish you well going forward with your treatment. health and happiness ahead.

biggest hugs brave lady    Tili ???
