Secondary BC in contralateral lymph nodes only

My primary BC was 1998. I had surgery (wide area excision and lymph node removal), radiotherapy and tamoxifen (for 8 years). In May 2026 I was diagnosed with BC in the same breast with spread to the opposite lymph nodes only. I’m told this is an unusual presentation.

Is there anyone here with the same diagnosis? Is surgery an option?
