I’m still realing from the diagnosis of secondary breast cancer, I’m 7 weeks post complete left hip replacement, I had radiotherapy on my hip and base of skull as mass found there as well, and its in my liver. Feel like I’ve been in a knock out boxing match and just kept getting up again.
I’m on a tablet called Everlimus, targeted for the liver, which works along side a tablet called Exemastane, hormone tablet to surpress the ovaries and wondered if there is anybody else on this course of treatment.
Would love to hear from anyone who wants a chat.

Hi Lisa sorry you have had to join us.There are quite a few of us on the everolimus/exestemane combo.I have been on it for 4 months now and my scan a few weeks ago showed the liver mets to have reduced.I was dx with exstensive bone mets 4 years ago this week and the liver mets were dx last December.I have recently had a blast of rads to my right pelvis and am hoping for some improvement to my mobility.
It is such a shock when you are dx and it sounds as though you have really been going through the treatment mill.
There is actually a thread on everolimus/exestemane se’s in the secondaries medical and treatment section. You will find a lot of info and others peoples experiences on there which you may find helpful.

Hi Lucinda,
you have given me more hope! Good to know there are people out there going
through the same as you. You can feel very much
on your own. Will look at secondaries info. Glad to hear your results are
heading in the right direction. Do you follow a strict diet or anything?
Take care and thank you
