I understand that lifestyle changes can make a (significant?) difference to survival rates. Put simply, I don’t know where to start. Can anyone point me to an uplifting book, YouTube video, anything that might give me ideas please?
I’m on anastrozole for 10 years, I suspect its more pernicious side effects are disguised by the pregabalin prescribed for neuropathic pain. I am being monitored by my oncologist because I was ‘heavily node-positive’ but don’t yet know what ‘monitored’ will mean. But I am NED, cancer-free. My major problem is that exercise is close to anathema to me, I have always had a weird eating disorder and I am agoraphobic with panic disorder, which limits my lifestyle considerably. So if it’s healthy eating, getting out and exercise, I’m going to need a personality transplant first. I just hate the idea that my current lifestyle is not helping reduce the risk of recurrence and I know small changes can lead to big changes eventually.
Any suggestions (yes, I know I need a good kick up the bum but that’s never worked with me) will be gratefully received and investigated x
