Anyone else been prescribed this. The Gynae Consultant prescribed it for vaginal atrophy caused by the Tamixifen and Letrizole I have been taking.
Just concerned because my cancer was ER+ and the drug has oestrogen in it. I have to assume they know what they are doing but am worried when I think about it…
I have had the same - I was suffering badly from vulvodynia. My OBGYN prescribed a 6 week course of low level oestrogen pessaries and said there had been a great deal of research in the area and there was no evidence to show that a short course had any detrimental effect. My GP confirmed this too. And just for a giggle: he gave me some cream to apply externally and I mustn’t go near fire or naked flames when using it. Just WHAT do they think I do in my spare time?
