Hi. I’m 10 days post surgery. Lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy. I’m having an issue with the node scar as it catches on any bra I wear. Am I OK to cover it with a plaster? I’m worried it won’t heal well. Any advise appreciated.
Probably best get some advice from your BC nurse re appropriate dressings as the wound does need to breathe too and it’s very moist and airless under your arm . I think a lot of people have more discomfort with sentinel node scar than the breast incision .You could also ask advice in the Ask the Nurses section on the forum ?
