So a year ago I started having spontaneous and fairly copious serous discharge from my left nipple. Mammogram and US 3 months laterwere clear, except for “debris in the ducts” noted by the US. I was told to get another mammo and US in 6 months. My gynocologist was not alarmed and in fact was quite unresponsive about it. So I got a new one, who was also not alarmed, but a least referred me to the general surgeon here, who is known as “the breast guy”. He said it was actually not a good thing that the mammo and US were clear. I’m getting repeats done tomorrow, but he has already scheduled me for removal of ducts, next monday. I’m confused and worried. Sorry for the long text. Any suggestions?
Calamity Jane how did you get on with repeats Tuesday? If you wanted to post in tge ask the nurse section on here they will be able to give some answers please remember till a professional tells you, you have breast cancer you do not have breast cancer the good thing you are doing is being breast aware and getting everything checked out and continuing to be vigilant Shi xx
