I was diagnosed and treated for left breast cancer nearly 10 years ago. I have now been recalled for biopsies after something showed up on my yearly mammogram in my right breast. Is this more likely to be a new primary.
Hi Sheels1
Apologies I have absolutely no idea regarding your question but I wanted to show some support and wish you all the very best when you go to your appointment. Xx
Hi , aww im sure your panicking firstly , it always our first nightmare that this horrible disease will come back ., hopefully now god willing that if it is anything it will be contained in the breast and they have got it in time Sheels , is easy to say don’t worry but that is what we do as humans , hopefully they will rule anything out sinister when the biopsies are done , could be a few different things so try and keep positive, wishing you all the best Debs x
You are right. If it is cancer it will be a new primary. Hope it turns out to be nothing serious
Hello sheels1
Thanks for posting.
Some women who have had a diagnosis of breast cancer do develop a second primary breast cancer either in the same breast or the other side. Benign (not cancer) conditions can also occur. Its hard to say which of these is likely. It’s good to see you’ve had some support from @tt59. Hopefully you won’t have wait long for the biopsies and results.
