Is the Shingrex vaccine for shingles available in the UK? If so, Has anyone had it? I stopped at our local pharmacy for my flu shot and saw advertisements for it. They are currently out of it. There is a shortage. The pharmacist explained to me that it is NOT a live inoculation, so I should be able to get it. I have to have a prescription slip to get it. They put me on the waiting list and I’m calling my oncologist tomorrow to see if I can have it. I didn’t know anything about it until today.
