Should I go back to my same job?

I am now in sick paid, I work as a care with disable child in school ( the child age 10 years old) and the majority of time in toilet I have Cary the child and put the child in good position at toilet seat even though I used a hoist. There is TA and at after noon another carer with me but no one help me to hold the child.

In addition I got mastectomy without reconstruction last April 2022, so I want a help or ideas. Shall I stay in same my position or I have to change it.

Have you asked the school about making some adjustments until you are more able to lift / hold a child . They are supposed to make reasonable adjustments so you can cope when you return to work.
