Shoulder Pain and Painful Breast

Hi, i’m new to this site. Last year i was at hospital with lumpy breasts. Cut a long story short, after 9 months and back and forth, different doctors etc i went private and was told that the lumps were hormonal.

Recently i have had a bad pain in my right shoulder and at times it goes into the breast and underarm.

I went to an osteopath and have paid a bit of money getting him to fix it but its still there. Tonight, i was changing and noticed that my right breast is not fitting into my bra the way it used to !

Can anyone tell me if this is linked. I know that they are unusual symptoms and probably not linked but nothing is working. Booked an appt with a female doctors but not in til 29th November.

Any advise or comment would be greatly appreciated. I am a single mum with an 8 year old boy and to be honest i am getting worried.

Many thanks

Beth

I’m afraid I don’t have any advice, other than you know your body best, and if you’re worried, stamp your feet and shriek until someone listens to you. I’m glad you have an appointment with your gp - insist on a rapid referral to your local breast clinic - you are too important to be fobbed off. It’s not always easy making a pain in the neck of yourself, but you have every right to - it’s your health and sanity, at the end of the day.

I hope it’s nothing at all serious, and remember that most things aren’t… but make sure you get taken seriously.

Big love

Thank you so much for your comments. Been fobbed off in the past and i am very large breasted and i often get told its nothing to worry about its just the ‘size’ of them! Very frustrated and yes i will be stamping my feet when i get to see them.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond
