First post. I had my first chemo (EC) 5 days ago and was plesantly surprised at how well I felt. However, this morning I’m feeling nauseaous and lightheaded and have a touch of constipation. Is his common? How long will it last? I’ve taken an antiemetic this morning. Everything tastes wrong too.
Dear @humfree3, well done for getting through your first chemo. Side effects are not uncommon and those associated with the chemo drug you were given will be listed on the emc website. Something I found helpful was to keep a diary of side effects by day post chemo so I could present and discuss them at next meeting with oncologist. Hopefully you have a number to call for a breast care nurse. Do call them and tell them what you are experiencing as it is important to report side effects, especially if you are worried.
