I have been taking Aromasin for three months following chemo. I have been experiencing various side effects. Pain in my back, bad pains in my ribs and lastly very bad pain in my thumb joint/nerve/tendons. The pain is also in my ring finger. Which causes my finger to get stuck in the curled position and I can only release it by pushing the finger out with my other hand.
Just above my left wrist going up the arm is also very painful. This can be a more burning pain and is considerable worse in the mornings when I have been still in bed. Can I ask if this has been experienced by others? I no longer take Aromasin and it has now been two weeks since I last took a tablet. How long do these side effects continue to present themselves and when can I expect to get some relief?
Or is this pain nothing to do with my Secondary Breast Cancer in the bones?

Mary - my mum was on aromasin for primary bc and had terrible joint pain and aches, even worse than when she was on tamoxifen and arimidex, but when she camme to the end of her 10 yrs medication, she came off them and her joints improved quite a lot. She has arthritis too and has done for years. Hope this helps. Sorry I missed your introduction on chat the other night.
