Is it ok to use deodorant after a lumpectomy? My sentinel nodes were removed via the incision in the breast not under my arm so I presume it’s ok? xx

I am sure I was told not to use deoderant for 4 weeks after my op. Might be best to check with your bcn on Monday.

I avoided the underarm where I had the incision but still used it on other underarm. Worth checking but if your incision is in breast sounds like you might be ok.
About the deodorant, once your cut heals over you should be ok. I even used my usual Dove all through rads and lots of people in other places were told not to OR to buy one from a list they give, They didn’t say that to me. Nothing bad happened!
Pets - no idea about reptiles but I am guessing they don’t sit on your lap for a cuddle. I think the pets and cleaning up after them is to do with infection. When I asked what happens to people with pets they said if no one else was available they got on to say the local budgerigar lovers society (or equivalent for your pet) and they always find someone to help once they know the situation.
