Similar symptoms?-hard lump

I visited my GP on Monday after having what feels like a small lump (approx 1x1cm) on my left breast for a few weeks/months. She has referred me to the one stop breast clinic and I have an appointment on 25th so not too long to wait but I’m so anxious and feel I can’t talk to anyone. The lump is hard, it feels smooth and almost cone like shape, doesn’t move and it feels like it’s attached to my rib cage- it’s located to the inner lower aspect of my left breast. The GP said she felt some “hardening” to my left side of the left breast too but I can’t feel any hardening. My right breast was fine. I’ve never had lumpy breasts and I’m also on Prostap injections for possible endometriosis. I know I’ve got my appointment on 25th but I’m beyond anxious. I’ve no history of breast cancer in my family and I’m 36. I can’t find any link to prostap injections having these side effects and how often do cysts stay put in one place or what else could the lump be if it doesn’t move?

has anyone else had similar that came back ok? X

Hi Ruthy

I don’t have a similar situation but just wanted to say hi, and welcome to this forum. I have found it so helpful and people are so supportive. I found a lump 6 months ago on right breast. Was sent for testing and had a core biopsy on a different lump that I couldn’t feel, it turned out to be benign thankfully. Fast forward about 2 weeks ago I found a new small hard lump, I have a follow up appointment from my last one so I’m going to have it checked then on the 8th. Fingers crossed this is benign also, feels different and am a bit concerned about it but trying to park it now for 2 more weeks. While our cases are not similar I do totally understand how you are feeling, it’s the worst. Fingers crossed your apt goes well on Thursday and you can put this all behind you. In the meantime come on here even if it’s just to vent as I find it really does help

Hope everything goes well today
