My 35 yr old sister has a stage 2 grade 3 breast cancer and 2 out of 4 lymph nodes are also affected she has had a lumpectomy and started chemo on Monday which she has been really poorly with, so much so that her anxiety has gone through window with worry on the 2nd round and she is researching and asked me to not having chemo ? is there anyone that can give me some advice please

Hi Gloria, I’m sorry to hear your sister is feeling so poorly, has she spoken to her medical team to let them know how badly her chemo has affected her? There are many things they can give her to help with side effects and they do also adjust the strength of the chemo sometimes.
We have many threads here with ladies going through treatment and sharing their experiences which would help your sister if she felt up to joining or if you could do it on her behalf so she knows she’s not alone and there is plenty of support here for her , I will add some links for you to have a look at Xx

Sister has a full body scan tomorrow to see if it is anywhere else ? then in Monday she is going to speak to her bcn, I have told her how nice this site is as i have been having a read of dome posts and I am sure she will join you all soon, it’s hard knowing what to say at minute without saying wrong thing so this is great for me to try understand a bit more and be able to help her through this x hope you are both well xx
