My sister was diagnosed with DCIS in march and had a mastectomy, she now has got pain in her ribs and is being given a ct scan. We are so worried. The nodes taken from her armpit were clear but she only had a 1mm margin to her chest wall and they didn’t remove any nodes from that area. Our concern is it may have travelled that way. She wasn’t given any other treatment after her surgery, she was just yoke it was a minor blip but as her DCIS was non invasive, she has nothing to worry about. Has anyone else had pain like this?
