Hi Lesley,
We don’t seem to have a publication on secondary skin mets so could I suggest that you give the helpline here a ring and have a chat with the nurses? Calls to the helpline are free 0808 800 6000.
I have put for you below a link to obtain BCC’s secondary resource pack which you may find useful. Again this publication is free of charge.
Hope this helps. Kind regards,

Hi loopyjack,
I developed skin mets along my mast scar line shortly after a WLE for a local recurrence. They improved greatly for a while on capecetbine oral chemo, but grew a fair bit in size when it stopped working. Currently stable on herceptin. Any q’s fell free to ask ![]()

Hi Loopyjack
I had a mastectomy in June but around Sep time I found a lump under my arm and a small lump near my scar. My onc said they would keep an eye on them I thought they were getting bigger so I decided go back to see my surgeon. As soon as he examined me he said they needed to be removed. I had the op 2 weeks ago and will bbe starting radiotherapy in a few weeks time. Could you go back to see your surgeon for a second opinion
