Hi ladies, I’ve just bought a SlenderTone Abs machine to ease myself back into exercising. I love it! However, with nothing much to do on a Sunday I decided to read the manual and it says, ‘Do not use if you have cancer’ and ‘Do not use over a site where drugs are administered by injection’. Well, I have cancer (liver and bones), and I have monthly Zolodex injected into my belly. I don’t know whether to keep using it now!! Is anyone else using one? FBx
Hi I have read that these machines and also the power plates that you stand on should not be used if you have or have had cancer, was thinking of trying the power plates but decided it was best not too. Not sure of the reasons why something to do with the motion of the machines and the spreading of the cancer cells through the body?
Have to stick to traditional exercise and lettuce leaves !

Hi FB
Do you mean the slendertone belt, I bought one a few weeks ago from Tesco -best check with your Onc if I ask mine he just says do what you want. I’ve only used mine once up to now but I’ve been on my Pilates reformer and today I’ve set up my rebounder. I’ll be interested what your Onc says I’m not seeing mine till 9th April
