Small Lumps at the side of my Breast after surgery and treatments

Hi

I have had chemo, mastectomy & implant surgery, lymph node axillary clearance and radiation (completed end of July) and I have recently developed a number (12 or so), hard small lumps that have appeared under my arm and at the side of my breast and one under my breast.  My surgeon has taken a biopsy and I have to wait over a week for the results.  She would not give an indication of what she though they were.  Has anyone else had anything like this appear and if so any advice?  I also feel like I have been stung by a swarm of bees on my breast in the last week or so and everything seems to be constricting more, even though I am 2 months post radiation…surely the side effects should be subsiding not getting worse !? Lx

Hi, sorry to see you are having a rough time. Waiting for results is horrendous.
I am 3 months post rads and my chest is beginning to feel sore/tight again. Radiotherapy effects can continue for many months even upto a year so im told.
I have found a couple of lumps post treatment and so i am looking for others experiences of lumps after treatment.
A nurse once told me to try not to worry about things that haven’t happened or that you don’t know the details of. Easier said than done.
Its good youre getting them checked out. x
