Small moveable lump

Hi!:waving_hand:

I’ve just discovered a small moveable lump to the left side of my surgical scar. I’m 2 months post lumpectomy surgery.

I am going to ring the BC nurse tomorrow, but juat wondered if anyone else had experienced this? Thanks

Slightly different in that mine was more of a general lumpiness running along the scar that I got checked at four months post lumpectomy and on investigation mine did unfortunately show to be an early local recurrence.

Please know I’m not saying this will be the case for you as I believe my situation is actually a bit unusual and I’m sure you’re aware that there are so many benign things that this could be. I’m really just sharing my experience to bolster your decision to contact your BCN and chances are it will turn out to be absolutely nothing.

Thanks @kswar! I had just started adjuvant chemo five days before the news came so this was reassessed and I started chemo on a neo-adjuvant basis on 22nd May with a different treatment regime and a view to further surgery at a later date.
