small painful lump armpit anyone got any ideas if this should be checked out

Hi Donna, i get those alot, having visited gp the first time (which you should do just to get it checked out and for peace of mind) it turned out to be an in growing hair (attractive!!) which i then needed antibiotics for, i have had seceral since but they always go on their own, they are about the size of a small pea and hurt like hell when you touch them!
Hope that helps, You should go to gp to get it looked at though but fingers crossed it will be nothing.

could be abscess - my friend had them recently underarm - she got checked out for BC when they were draining them
