Hello everyone, just registered on this site. Have just finished Radiotherapy after having a cancerous lump removed from left breast and am now on Tamoxifen. I’m 58 and due a smear test, but 'cos of my age have to use a cream before I have the test. I’ve heard that ladies on Tamoxifen should NOT use this cream - is this right?

If it’s a hormone cream then I think you should be avoiding it. Best to call your bc nurse, onc or GP and find out. It may be that if it’s a “one off” then it’s ok but best to check.
