Hi Ladies, i just got home from my oncolgist appointment, it was so reassuring what he said to me and i feel so much better after being a total wreck before going in, he said i only had cancer in the one node directly by my breast and no spread anywhere else , the stage is 1-2 if 2 its because of the node, he said the aim is to cure me …i start chemo a week on weds, i also asked him about IBC and if i had it would the prognosis be the same he said that IBC is no different to any other breast cancer theses days and if i did have it i would still be cureable, so feeling so much better now knowing these facts x
Really pleased to hear that you had such a positive outcome from your oncology meeting, and that it has made you feel far more settled about your diagnosis and treatment plan. The relief must feel good !
