hi there I am new to this I was just wandering if any one with multiple fibroadenomas would be willing to chat to me or could give me any advice. As I have multiple fibroadenomas from the age of 19 and had 3 lumpectomes since then I know with fibroadenomas that they are usually left but they keep making my breasts grow bigger and it looks like im going to have to go in and have another lumpectomy as there still making my breasts go bigger . I am now 23 I do not have a history of bc in the family but a strong history of breast lumps in the family ,I have had 27 fibroadenomas out . if any one could help me it would mean a lot as i have no one to real late to .
thank you for your time

Hi Stars
Sorry I cant help answer your question - but I thought you may have some more responses from people with similar problems. Because you posted quite late on Friday evening it could be your post was “lost” over the weekend with all the other posts … just in case Im commenting to push you further up the queue! Hope you some advice or comments that will help you.
Im assuming you have spoken to your doctor or the hospital about all this surgery ? 27 is a helluva lot of lumps to have removed!
Take good care

Hi starsforever
Whilst you wait for the other users to reply with thier advice and support you may find the BCC booklet on fibroadenoma helpful to read.
This leaflet has been designed to provide information to give a better understand of fibroadenomas.
If you would like a copy just follow the link below:-

Hi Stars,
No problem I just wanted you to get some support perhaps from someone with a similar experience.
I hope all goes well on the 15th at the hospital. Dont hesitate to keep posting on here and sharing any anxieties or concerns you have - or just for a chat! It helps a lot some days to have people around you who know how you feel.
Take good care.

has anyone had a masectomy and reconstructon for mutliple fibroadenomas or for benign reasons and has no history of bc but breast lumps in the family ???
