sore nose after having a little cold

Hi I have developed a sore (cold sore like) under my nostrils after having a little runny nose last week. I do normaly get them, but beeing on chemo not sure what to do…shall I go to visit GP? anyone experience this? help

Hi. Poor you! It may be worth seeing your gp anyway, just to check your airways/temp etc. It’s bad enough having a cold but whilst on chemo when we aren’t 100% is horrible. Hugs…x

Hello Slinky
If it was me I’d ask the chemo unit. If you haven’t got any nasal hairs left it can cause the runny nose.
I spoke to mine today. I have a cold and sore throat. They were very helpful, but have delayed my next chemo by a few days.

I am going to se gp tomorrow and then take it from there,will ring chemo as well. I aonly just had my 3rd last friday… my nose is running and I do not have any nose hair at all… but I always get a sore nose even before I had this dreaded illness. will report bac
