Does anyone know if spatone iron sachets with added vit c are safe to use whilst undergoing chemotherapy treatment? .its such a minefield the question of supplements during chemo.also vit d3?

Hi I think it is advised to not take supplements whilst having chemo. Also you have regular bloods done before chemo so if your Iron levels are low then your medical team will prescribe iron pills. I think the best advice would be to get the vitamins from foods although that can be difficult when having chemo as it can make you feel like pooh and losing your taste doesn’t help either. I would ask your medical team before taking anything. All the best xx
