Sponsorship please for a friend - he's running 101 miles in less than 46 hours!!

Hi everyone

I’m posting this in the hope that any of you can spare a few quid for sponsorship for my friend’s fella. He has suffered personal loss through the big C, and he has been an absolute rock for my friend whilst she has been supporting me over the past 12 months.

He is running the ‘ultra tour du mont blanc’ which is basically 101 miles through France, Italy and Switzerland…through mountains and harsh climbs… He has to complete this in less than 46 hours too.

He has raised a substantial amount offline, but online things are slow. He has set up a ‘Justgiving’ fundraising page, and I would be grateful if any of you could donate a few pounds (or a lot if you have it going spare) and take a few minutes out of your day to post him a supportive message alongside your donation.

He really is a fantastic person who is a great support - I’m trying to help him out as much as I can!

There’s a few of us on Facebook (in the Breast Buddies group) where you can post links.

send me the link and I’ll stick it up and make a donation. It frustrates me so much that we can’t even share links on stuff like this that I will be using just facebook when me chemo gang are all finished (we all started together, I’m sticking it out).

So message me with it and I shall share. That’s a tough run too.

I’ve put it up on Facebook in the Breast Buddies area and made a little donation, that’s a tough ole walk (pressumably he likes to walk as I do though, he’s not just torturing himself right :wink:
