Hi Everyone
I am on my second FEC which they say is a high dose 900mg i don’t know if that makes any difference. After the first treatment I had spots on my face neck and head. Now the second treatment has left my bald head covered with them they are so sore and inflamed my GP gave me antibiotics. Has anyone suffered with this and how have they coped. Really appreciate any help.

Yes I also had this problem after my second FEC. I can sympathise it was so so painful. I hope it responds to the antibiotics. I found it was very important about a week after chemo to be vigilant - I was washing my head twice a day with an antibacterial wash prescribed by hosp. But I found tea tree to be the answer. Dilute 5 drops in a small amount of boiled water - cool. Wipe this over head morning and nite at peak usually 2nd week. It soothed and fought infection and onc was in favour. Hope this helps. PS it was diagnosed as folliculitis - not sure if that is what you have.

Thank you so much for your advice, think that is what I have googled it …may be the steriods they have put me on that causing it. I will try the tee tree though.
