Hi
Does anyone know whether eating your own sprouted seeds particularly broccoli, is safe for er+ bc?
I have read that it is known to help prevent cancer from occuring but I’ve not seen anything to say whether it is the same for re-occuring.

Hi Greenpea
I notice that Haven run a lecture on sprouting, you may like to check out their website
I know sprouting is very beneficial, producing enzymnes, protein, and broccoli is known as an anti-cancer food. Don’t know much else sorry!
I drank wheatgrass prior to chemo to build me up - totally disgusting. But it did boost my immune system before the onslaught!
Lots of love

Greenpea, Hi,when I was dx in july I went ballistic finding out about all sorts of things but I did get in touch with the Penny Brohn Centre in Bristol They sent me lots of interesting stuff and I found the eating healthily info excellent. Perhaps their helpline would be able to give you guidance.
