My peri menopausal brain has been going all night!
Still waiting for surgery on the 19th December for Lumpectomy.
The surgeon gave me my biopsy and mri results saying it was a grade 3 IDC 1.4 cm with no lymph nodes involved.
What stage is that potentially?
Or do they not stage it until after surgery?

I think they generally don’t stage until after your surgery and the results following that as they need to be certain that the MRI and other biopsies give the full picture . Hope your surgery goes well and you are able to enjoy your Christmas .
They don’t stage until after surgery. The good news for you is that you have had an mri at this juncture, and that there is no spread beyond your breast, and your tumour is small, and you’re having surgery in a couple of days.
Be like your username - positive. I think a positive attitude has helped me in the over 15 years since my primary diagnosis.
