Did you manage to scare off any gremlins while you were on the prowl in the night? I scared off a few on my way back in to the Woods this mornign -they don’t like to see those of us who have managed to get out - because we show them how VERY temporary they are and how they might annoy us (a lot) but they DO NOT beat us…
I’ll try and send a sleep fairy your way tonight - one came out of the woods with me last night…

Tried to post yesterday but have had problems with signing in.
With regard to changing NB for the whipping boy can we please have RW as he annoys me so much. Thank goodness he has left Take That again much better without him he may need a job now serving drinks, pastries etc. Although annoying he is more pleasing on the eye than NB.

PW, I’ll join you - can’t get my head around this pro points thing. I could cope with the old ones and lost three stones a couple of years ago. Starting off again this time I was about a stone lighter than when I started last time so not as bad, and I blame steroids and six months of not enough activity for the weight gain. Oh, and all the strong cheddare and chocolate I ate as comfort food…
I think even the virtual cake had calories for a while!
Lost 5 1/2 lb so far in four weeks - nice and steady!

“How’s work?” - OK - they’ve still got the part-time temp brought in to help cover, so life’s quite easy at the moment.
More stressful is keeping my canine house-guest (smart terrier) and resident moggy apart! They take it in turns to have a go at each other, so resident moggy is banished to the kitchen. Luckily it’s only for 24hrs and I’ll be out and about with the dog for most of tomorrow.

i’m tentatively stepping into the dark with an mx and axial node clearance on the 8th November. i was thinking maybe Derren Brown would be a useful addition to the woods, he already looks like a centaur and could baffle us all into forgetting how we’re feeling?

I’ve been through Mx Marshes, the DDW of chemo, Rads Rushes and I’m now in Tamoxifen Towers, but still enjoy gathering round the campfire. There’s normally someone patrolling with a flamethrower to keep the gremlins at bay.
I do think that we’ll have to consider Derren Brown - BC messes with your head enough, I’m not sure I’d want him furtling around in there as well. However, happy hypnotherapy sessions might be useful on occasions. Hmmmm…

Herbidacious, welcome to the madhouse! I’m sure you’ll fit in splendidly with such a magical name. Have you brought Dill the dog with you to join our other canine friends and protectors? I’m sure they’ll get on magnificently.
D, the JM is actually the Jingling Merkin and way back in the mists of time the name related originally to morris dancing (see pages 66/67 of this thread), but has since transmogrified a little into what might happen to the bells on your merkin if you actually manage to get a little…erm… intimate with your partner whilst having treatment…!
And please, please, please I beg of you, don’t let Derren Brown in here. I can’t bear the man and might just have to shoot him on sight if I catch him anywhere near me. Either that or I’ll handcuff him to NE and let them fight it out for the title of world’s most annoying bloke.
