It’s ten thirty and I’ve only just finished one of those lovely butties and a small bucket of coffee. The face paint is a bit smeary and what is that on my pjs???—I think it’s time for a quick dip in the lagoon, but I AM moving slow.
Those benchlanders really know how to party–I think they were still singing in the JM long after I’d crawled off to bed.

Maybe we’ll have recovered by next weekend. Is is Supertrouper who’s having a birthday soon? Cackles?–what it is to have lost my memory…I know it’s one of you lot (or a benchlander?). It may be time to prepare a birthday party? Lashings of cake and ginger beer sounds nice after last night’s excesses. PB WAS singing, egged on by some worse-for-the-wear benchlanders, and I distinctly saw DT leaving, shaking his head. Not to mention the dogs–although weren’t the cats cute the way they accepted Pukey without any hissing or growling?

I was so tired, I went to bed at 10.30 last night and didn’t wake up until 11.30 this morning - (apart from the usual hotspots and loo visits!) Haven’t done that for YEARS!!
I think the sleep fairies must all have been frightened away by your revelry, rock cake hurling and fireworks, and all come to shelter with me. Sorry if the rest of you were deprived of sleep - but it sounds like the amount of alcohol imbibed may have done the trick??!
Unfortunately, I now have a hangover-like headache due to oversleeping (always happens) without having had the fun of the drinking! And all those boring Sunday jobs to get done before work tomorrow - may just have a sip of this Winter Pimms that I found hidden under the table - that may help me finish the ironing??! Hic! Froof! That’s strong - no wonder you were all pi… er ‘happy’ last night!!

PS It seems the Woodies (techies?) have forgotten to put their clock back STILL - or I slept even later than I thought - because apparently I posted that at 15.13, and I thought it was just gone 2!!

Bonjour Woodies Im back had a fab time…walked in real woods wellies brollies and waterproofs!! Bloomin stunnin I was:) Thought about all you lovely ladies every step I took .France was very relaxing and now back to it!! So what have I missed? x

Hi Woodies, bit scared as tomorrow I’m meeting my surgeon to discuss my next steps. Had chemo first to shrink the b@stard & now have surgery coming up. Don’t know what to expect so need a good dose of woodland courage xx
