Standing outside the dark, dark woods.

Going to sit on the BCisa***** bench. need to write a rant best not seen by anyone, to BC about how unfair and unkind it s, heard some news about another lady who thought she had beat it and a year on its back with a vengeance.

Hi Shawshank, so good to hear your news. Rubbish coughs and colds around just now, I too had my blood checked due to breathlessness. Think we always think the worst so great to hear your positive news! Hope the shrinking continues.
take care all, off for breakfast to the JM, hot buttered toast with marmite and a latte

Kay, so sorry about your friend, I know how you feel. Keep supporting her and try to be positive. BC is worse than a bi***, it is a word I dont use!
Keep that two fingered flag flying xx

Milly Molly in week one and week two of each cycle I couldnt eat so many things, like you Jane I couldnt stand bread or potatoes for that matter, the texture was horrible. I enjoyed really spicy food though, so there are some good points xx
Keep your chins up ladies xx

Woodies, pleas cross everything - results of WLE #2 tomorrow xx

everything crossed… praying too…
xx

Breakfast in the JM sounds good… I can smell the coffee…

Jane

Thinking of you Jelly!
coffee calling , ooh perhaps there are bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese, ham and cheese croissants, Danish pastries…mmmmmm

It’s good news Woodies

Clear margins & 3 weeks radio xx

Great news Jelly. Party time!

Yay! Great news, Jelly!! You can just get over thgis last hurdle and get on with planning your wedding! Yipeee!!

Yay Jelly, brilliant news! 3 weeks of rads - you’ll be fine!
Role on the Woodie Hen Weekend !
xxxx

Can I uncross evrything now Jelly!!! Wonderful news! Rads are VERY do-able… lots of moisturiser (start NOW, so it soaks down through the layers of skin) big area (I didn’t do it high enough and forgot armpit)… if you are a distance from the unit, maybe a few friends will drive you, take turns. I had a little rota, and it was brilliant cause not only did I get a lift, but I got to chat with different people there and back, and what could have been a chore, became fun…

Now, party in the JM to celebrate, methinks… OK, it’s early, I’ll start with coffee… we can prepare for the party later… think about it… think about the food… think about the drink… think about the guests… whilst not doing very much. Sounds good…

Off to the real woods with Soddit… see you for coffee later

love Jane xx

Thank you, SO relieved!! Xx

Hello everyone - heard that there might be party in here but find the JM bar and the woods rather quiet tonight. I think everyone must be in BENCHLAND. I must admit that I prefer the woods. Just nipped back with Buggerit from the land of NED to see if all is okay in here. I passed by the chapel and lit a candle in memory of people who have passed this way and also for the ones that will follow. Rather upset to see several candles lit by someone from across the pond so lit one for them too. All is well with me - bit of lymphoedema in the affected arm and still waiting for a date for reconstruction operation. Other than that it is life as “normal” - not quite the “normal” that it used to be - and to be honest I don’t think it ever will be - but life is good. Snowdrops are out in our garden - or “Claredrops” as I call them, in memory of someone who loved them.
Right Buggerit - one patrol of the perimeter fencing and then off to bed for us.

Good night woodies - sleep well - hope you catch a sleep fairy

Brilliant news Jellytot - so pleased!! x

Hi ST. good to see you and Buggerit! I’m much the same as you, popping in from NED to case away the odd gremlin and see who’s around. Lymph in arm too, but not planning a reconstruction.soddit’s on my lap as I write, bless him. They’re brilliant aren’t they? loving the Claredrops pushing through and I’ve a cheery bunch of early daffs brightening up the tent…

Just strolling around the woods hoping to lose the whatifs - they are cunning little b****r’s they sneak up on me and dig their claws in. I’m counting my blessings as I stroll and that is turning out to be a really good weapon to fight the b’s off! Now where is the path to JM - a tiny bit of cake or chocolate would be lovely.

Get yourself a good hefty baseball bat Tup, and knock em for six

Whatifs don’t like positivethinking or Stayintoday… kick 'em the the DocMartins!
doing a swift patrol before bed… Got one!

night

Jane

just a quick visit ladies to say a cheery HI as I seem to have waved the tears goodbye and NED land is proving to be soooo much better now am tam-poxy-fen free just keeping my fingers crossed that my visit back to oncology on the 14th doesn’t see me back on it, my phased return to work is going really well and the new normal life is taking on a very positive path right now, well hope everyone is well big hugs to all Angi xxx
