started Herceptin last May, could i start Perjeta this late in Herceptin

I had chemo last year and radiotherapy that finished in September. I started Herceptin last May and due to finish this May.

I have found out that Perjeta has just been funded. Perjeta is supposed to run along side Herceptin. I wondered if I could start Perjeta this late in my Herceptin course. I would really like to start Perjeta.

Hi Henrypup. I think Perjeta is only given with chemo for primary breast cancer that is her2+. I think it can be given after chemo for secondary breast cancer. Go to the ask the nurses section. They may be able to help x

I had TC chemo with targeted therapy Herceptin and perjeta but apparently it’s only given to people before surgery with chemo or for lady’s with secondary cancer x
