Lol Anne, OH always detested them but after discovering these new ones he doesn’t quite so mind. Tried a few different ones and by far the pleasure max are the best i no of Anyway! On that note I’m off to wake the OH up then hopefully have a good sleep. Sweetdreams all x Mary x
Googd morning.
Up early and ok. Woke at 2am and felt a wee bit nauseated but fell back to sleep. Managed a yoghurt so able to take pills. Aiming to go into Cardiff today to collect a bridesmaid dress for DD. My niece is getting married in August so hoping I will have a bit of hair or the hat might need to be a big one. OH and ES birthdays next week so need to find some gifts. Gonna look at 'Cheryl Coles, today. Just starting to notice little gaps on lower lashes and thinning of top ones.
Mary, also hated the condom, last time we used one was over 23 years ago, prob won’t bother again. They were the ones kids get from school by the carrier bag full. will stick to cuddles.

No, my farts have not knocked me out - yet! - had a rather full social calendar yesterday and then went to see Star Wars in 3D! Cost 12 quid (can you believe that!!!???) and the 3D was not THAT good buti love Star Wars !
I am OK, my biggest problem at the mo’ is having hot flushes like every 5 minutes.
Have to go wash my hair (you all did a double take at that , didn’t you?) …

I decided to change my picture again. Just to confuse you! I kinda like seeing a picture of you all as it puts a face to the name. My lovely hair, which I always felt was my crowning glory is a mess now. Boo hoo.
Anyway, good morning! Hope you all slept well. OH has left for his bike ride and he’s disappointed it’s wet here. What a shame.

The quiz last night was a huge success. Apparently it was packed with 19 teams of 4-6 people. I think over £200 was raised for breast cancer research. The winning team auctioned off their £50 prize and got £65. I know the people who ended up with it so will give them a big hug later.
I’ve got an exciting morning planned. Housework and laundry. So better have my breakfast and get on. Want to get it all done before OH gets home and we can do something nice later.
The boat arrives tomorrow. Aaaaaaaah. Will be happy once it’s off the lorry and in the shed.

Morning ladies, 3 down, 3 to go! Another very long day yesterday, left the house at 9 got home at 7. Far too much waiting around between seeing the doctor and the IV unit calling me to come in. Anyway its done now. Slept terribly, woke every hour in a hot sweat, then woke at 5 and didn’t go back to sleep. Have headache this morning and tingly arms and legs (has anyone else had this) but tummy feels ok so far, managed usual breakfast. Have taken 9 tablets this morning I must rattle.

Can’t dither on here this morning as I’ve got to go to the Nightingale centre - my bc unit to spit at them. Oops, not to spit at them, but to provide them with a saliva sample. When I had my mammogram I opted into the PROCAS study which is about predicting bc risk. Well it may be a little late predicting me lol.

Gas mask - I think it would be a worthwhile addition to our business! I can use one next week, smelly bottom seems to be the order of the second week for me. No use for condoms though, I don’t mind if my rampant rabbit glows in the dark! 
Well done Clare! That is a very long day indeed - I am usually in and out in an hour and a half when being juiced. I am suffering from hot flushes and when you say it, it does not sound too bad, but when you experience them it is quite uncomfortable. If my bloody period still makes an appearance, I will be well annoyed!
Lazy day today, just watching movies. A mild day but rather windy, don’t fancy going out at ALL. Must snap out of this lethargy soon!
afternoon ladies! Wat a day!
After a rather nice steamy session with OH i managed to hurt my picc arm been suffering all night and so far all day. Serves me right! Just taken some paracetamol hopefully Will kick in soon.
Then at 7am lo wakes up having messed herself and whole bed with diahorrea. Joys of teething. Can’t wait till they are all out seems like taking forever. She started teething at 6 weeks and is now 14 months with 12 so far! Do feel sorry for her.
Anne did you find the Cheryl Cole lashes? The eyelure ones are good too quite natural!

Julianna glad to hear you’re ok and been out and about scandalous about cinema tickets tho. OH and son went to watch chipMunks then into town and pizza hut. Had a boys day out. Youngest was with me we had a sleep and then had to ask sis to come get her. She is too active for me today! I Actually washed my hair today and lost quite abit again sick of it now but Hey ho.

Lol sue! Had to research the condom business in order to keep sex on agenda without too much disruption. Admit it is a hassle and sometimes feel like why do i bother but keeps things ‘normal’ for me and OH. I still can’t comprehend why he would want to with such a vulgar looking thing like me at mo but that’s just me! Hope today went ok for you and you gave a substantial spit sample. Lol.

Thought I’d pop in quickly to see how everyone is going on - ha ha - taken me twenty minutes to catch up. The things you lot have been getting up to since Thursday! Lol. Thank you for making me laugh out loud - lo looks at me very strangely when I’m giggling to myself in the corner. Sometimes feel this thread is the best medicine going - was feeling a bit overwhelmed earlier - seem to keep feeling alarming bumps/pains that weren’t there before in and around my yet to be operated on boob and it scares me silly - have to keep telling myself to get a grip - no doubt onc will be checking me out next week. Also think rapidly approaching juice dose on Tuesday isn’t helping mood. Please can someone put the pram on standby?

with oh and are feeling somewhat better today though sorry to hear PICC giving you a bit of trouble. Keep thinking PICC sounds like a good idea as veins still shocking but then read that people are having probs and think “oooooohhh maybe not”.

Afternoon ladies, feel so much better, tingling has gone and apart from a minor headache I feel ok. Actually got out in the garden this afternoon, what a beautiful day not a cloud in the sky, and had a bit of a tidy up. Haven’t done anything in the garden since pre surgery in November.
I can’t remember being told anything about using condoms but then I don’t remember anything much these days. We haven’t being using them and it it hasn’t dropped off nor does it glow in the dark, not that we have been very active in the bedroom department. OH is great, he still fancies me despite all the scars and thin greasy hair.
Have just been told that a work colleague has got shingles. I called the unit and they told me it would be ok as long as didn’t touch her, which I didn’t. It was also days 20 and 21 of my cycle so I should have had some immunity. Panic over

Clare glad you’re feeling well chic. It was pretty dismal weather here in blackburn but glad you managed to get some fresh air. Onc told me we ‘must’ use condoms as chemo can leak into our bits and may pass on to OH so i don’t risk it. So it has been condoms galore since starting juicing. Must admit tho in days 16 to 20 we have done without. Naughty i no but nice to have it like we normally would! All our OH’s our so understanding it’s nice to no we all have quite abit of support. Omg at colleague having shingles that is scary but you should be ok at that time of cycle. Have fingers and all else crossed for you.

on another note, i have now finished the last on my injections until next juicing…went ok, few muscle pains like after good gym workout!
still eating like a pig. Actually made it to rugby club this avo only to pick neice up to stay night but was night to see humanoids and not doctors and nurses for a change! bugger the germs, recon with all these injections i should be good for a while.
oh yes my distric nurses wouldn’t come out and inject me as they had not had info from chemo unit and dr wouldn’t authorise it! luckkily friend used to be a nurse and she has been doing it!
on a lighter note i have decided to party! yup my big 40 is in May and was going to content myself with a meal but thought what the heck, there are quite a few locals i would like to thank so we are going to have a party in July, and hog roast with donations going to Breast Cancer and my local church…and it will take my mind off all this if i have something to look forward to at the end, and something to organize! just hope people turn up!!! always my fear that i am there on my own!!!
Tankgirl - hog roast! What a fantastic idea to have a huge bash for your birthday! And perchance to celebrate having a bit of hair by then? Not too worry, we can turn up for your paaaartyyyy - but I am sure there will be loads and loads of people already!
