Starting chemo next week

Morning ladies,

would like to chat to fellow new starters…had mastectomy in January (DCIS) was all contained so good news,then told found a different cancer in lymph nodes.so lymph nodes out and eventually found the cancer in my breast tissue so now starting chemo next week and not gonna lie,am terrified.

  How do you all cope with the waiting ? 18 weeks then 3 more for radiation ?

Pop onto the April starters chemo thread, we are all starting chemo sometime in April.  Its great to chat with others about the treatment.  I was a mess at the beginning but  found it helpful looking at the Feb starters thread to help me prepare and by doing this i feel a lot more positive about my treatment.
