Morning all
Totally agree with Millykins, this BC business is very expensive, petrol, car parking etc etc plus all the totally necessary accessories - wigs, ice cream, chocolate etc etc.
Still feeling remarkably fraudulent, slight headache, bit lightheaded, and the thought of cereal with milk made me feel a bit icky, so having black coffee and gingernuts for brekkie, so I can take my medication.
I am just waiting for it all to kick in, just when I think I may have got away with it!!
Hairwise, this time next week, I will have had all mine clippered off, have wig and hats, it was the process of losing my hair rather than not having any!
SJ - Don’t feel a fraud feel LUCKY. I think tiredness kicks in about day 3-4 from what others have said but if you’re getting away with the sickness long may it last. I made gingerbread yesterday with my daughter & it’s half gone already & I’m not even on chemo yet so think I will have to do batch cooking before hand cos it’s delicious & moreish!!!
So bit ick last night and a bit ropey this morning but, to be fair, I’ve had hangovers that have been worse! Just dug out the ginger biccies and after fighting off the puppy they have def made me feel a bit better! Glad you are ok SJ!
cofee made me sick, so im off it now!
jo, u makeme laff with wigs, was a good job i only got the one, its only been worn for an hour. im spending a fortune on diff hats

Hi
I think Emma has summed it up, feel a bit ropey but certainly have had much worse hangovers…
Not sleeping that well generally, so not sure what the tiredness is down to but I will be taking the opportunity to stretch out on sofa to watch rugby this afternoon.
Was worried about coffee, but as long as no milk, fine for the moment…
Millykins, I misread your post, thought you said you’d bought another to go with the 41 you already have, lmao, then I remembered, that’s Emma’s total, isn’t it!!! I love the idea of role specific wigs - hmmm, bedroom wig… prob. be one with “f*** OFF I’m not in the mood” cunningly woven in to the fringe in a contrasting colour…
haha i went off coffee aswell Kaz ( did when i was pregnant too)and dont like tea so hotchocolate and bovril was my hot drinks fad
as for the wigs …it just shows us what our OH 's would like us to look like long blonde wigs and pamela anderson breast reconstruction ha ha sophie ithink ill get youre quote tatooed on my blad head
millykins where are you buying all your wigs from (what site)?
Hi all
Not feeling such a fraud now, although totally copable (word?) with. I was worried that I would go off coffee, as I did when I was pregnant, and also don’t drink tea. Also the thought of any milk turns the old stomach, so minimal milk in coffee!
Biggest problem I am having, is when any cooking is done, anything at all toast, bacon (2 of my favourite smells on the planet)!, and they are smells that happen a lot in our house. I don’t feel like eating much at all, just not hungry but am snacking, mostly so I can take the tablets.
I have had worse hangovers, but at least they were gone in a day, suspect this one will take a bit longer… but for the moment not nearly as bad as I thought it would be (may have spoken too soon!
got them off ebay. there’s a couple of UK sellers that do real hair from £35 up to about £80 and another from about £50. I put links somewhere on our pink road thread. plus I found some real cheapies from someone selling warehouse clearance wigs from £5.99!!! plus post of £2.99 - thought they’d be rubbish at that price but took a punt & they were pretty good!!! I think there are loads of chinese imports available so they are really cheap - or you casn get direct from china but have to wait. I got my wedding dress custom made from one place in china & it was £150 including postage and you wouldn’t believe the quality - just amazing & really thick bridal satin people couldn’t believe it & thought it must have been at least a grand he he - what a cheapskate I am!!! Kaz has seen the pics on facebook so she’ll tell you the truth!!!But I now have more faith in buying from abroad but you do have to be careful & check out feedback!!
can you tell me the name of the cheapest ( warehouse ones) cos i want a longer one for xmas do cos im gonna have it pinned up so just want a cheapy to wear once xx
I have ebay “fetishistic” sessions every so often. get obsessed with a particular type of item then can’t stop buying. When I got married I ended up with 6 dresses (sold the rest & made slight profit!) Dolls houses - bought 7 still have 2 and again made profit on sales. Dressing up dresses for daughter - she has about 20 hanging in her bedroom and I have another 30 in the loft!!! can’t bear to part with them (I secretly wish I could fit into them after all!!) - actually I’ve seen an american site that sells southern belle style gone with the wind dresses & am tempted to get one!!!. Oh yes & currently it’s Sindy & Barbie stuff. again I buy & sell but the selling is a bit hap hazzard as I’m always reluctant!! I get loads of my girls clothes on there too so her wardrobe is over stuffed.
I know I am compensating for something but not sure what!!!.
millykins, can’t remember - are you the other Aries alongside me and Mel!!! I do exactly the same on ebay - get fixated on one thing. The dolls house purchases made me laugh - I only bought two build 'em yourself dolls houses, but then I discovered…furniture/pictures/carpets/wallpaper/ornaments/ELECTRIC LIGHTS…!!! Oh, stop me now. Needless to say, the kids got hold of them and wrecked em…
I’m quite proud of myself that I’ve only bought one wig… but I will admit to searching daily, just in case… and I am watching a red one…lol. And I don’t even know if I can cope with a wig, yet - I have a feeling I’ll be like Kaz, rip it off in the pub!!!
Sophie I’m an Aquarian - Not sure what that means in OCD perspective but I have always been a bit like that - Like eat the same thing loads then get sick of it.
re wigs I know loads of people who don’t bother cos of comfort - after all this I may end up not wearing them hee hee
BTW - My mother in law lives in Tiverton so we pass quite near you when we visit - have no idea when we’ll get down again cos I don’t want to venture far during this just in case. I know people do travel but I think I couldn’t cope with the stress
