Good afternoon everyone. What a great site this is and thanks for all the invaluable information; just compiling a new shopping list!
One thing has crosses my mind. Are we allowed a drink of water whilst the drugs are being administered? Silly I know, but I drink loads during the day and would find a dry morning quite difficult.
I’m feeling well and still very positive as the Big Day approaches.

Hi Elefan - yes I guzzle water the whole way through the chemo to help it through my system. Have just had first TAX on Thurs following 3xFEC. No SEs yet, but expecting tiredness and aching any day now!

You can drink as much as you like - and you should, at least 2 litres a day. It might be worth stocking up on some squash or cordial though - lots of ladies get taste disturbance with tax, and often water starts to taste horrible. Good luck.
