Hi
congraaaaaaaatulations Carol. Well done and hope you shake off the final side effects without too much bother.
Poppet that finish line is just round the next bend and we are all waiting to cheer you through the finish.
Lalala good luck back at work after Easter. I found it tiring, missed all the free social time but amazingly normal to be back in my old life. Hope it goes really well for you. I am still on light timetable, went back right at the end of Jan this year. Every week became easier. I went back on a Thursday so had a short week to start

Hi Poppet!
Just checking through the threads and saw your post! Congratulations on getting to the end of your chemo! You seem to have been on chemo for ages, I remember us chatting on our thread through chemo and you always seemed to have so much more chemo and SEs than me. I had my last one on the 10th Feb and am now on tamoxifen as I didn’t need rads.
Good luck with your rads and hormones, glad you made it through, xxx
Hi Poppet … and all,
Well done for getting to the end of chemo - it’s such a landmark. Hope the rad planning went ok yesterday. Hope everyone else is going on ok? I’ve been back at work for two weeks now, part time, and am finding it really tiring. Also had mammogram and ultrasound on Thurs ready for next meeting with surgeon/consultant. Lady doing ultrasound said there was nothing ‘untoward’ showing so that’s a relief, but results of mammogram will be 3-4 weeks, so my fingers are crossed!
Take care all, S x
Hi,
Poppet belated congraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatulations on finishing that marathon we call epi/cmf. You did really well to stick it out and I am sorry I have not spotted this earlier to say well done. Hope the rads are going ok, they don’t usually make themselves known till the end of the 2nd week and many paople sail through. Good luck with the hormones. It seems such a small thing to take one tablet and I find it very reassuring to be physically doing something, but they do bring side effects of their own. Get ready for the big warm up and try to buy cotton/ natural fibres for this summer. Good luck with the rest of your treatment.
lalala hi, its a bit of a shock isn’t it going back to work. Take it slowly and don’t be slow to say I can’t do that, when you find something tough.Latest tests sound reassuringly normal, so pleased for you. Mine were too. Ostrich glad to hear you are going ok and long may that last for all of us

Hi all,
Hope you are all OK? … and all finished with invasive treatment? I’m missing the internet social life a bit as all I seem to do is work part time and sleep and sleep and sleep. I did have a wobble about 4 weeks into work when I couldn’t stop crying so had to have a few days off. Have now dropped lots of responsibilities and don’t even have to go to staff meetings, which is a blessing. Am staying part time next year, which is a relief. My mammogram results were clear, and had my second 3 monthly check up and all was OK. Next step is to get a reduction on the healthy side to match things up!
Big hugs and best wishes,
La x
