starting my pink road of cemo, 15th nov

Ohhh Reeb…are they your sheeps or your neighbours? We use tons of Swaledale and Herdwick in what I do as well as everything else! If you can find me some Blue face Leicester fleeces I will love you forever…huge demand from customers!..will collect or pay for delivery!

I love cows too…used to keep em and have worked with the great hairy things for years!

Three hours snow here, three at schools, really don’t need them not to be able to get home. Luckily OH here running himself ragged and off to hay sheep/llamas in a minute. We weren’t breeding this year due to me being off the radar and eldest at home has AS but there was a stray ram in with them hoiked out Wed. Crossbreds are a nightmare for us :(.

I always wanted Murray Greys after working with them from pre-teen but we don’t eat meat so no point. BFLs are bred near here too. Expect the fleeces go to the board.

Hope today goes well Jam x

Oh bacca…tell the people sending to the board i will give em more…its ok the board will be ok as they know what I do!
We do stuff with 'paca and llama fleece too…pm me if you want to know what!!! My ram is in and we lamb in april…hopefully all treatment finishes by then!

@lostinfrance…sadly fleece is pennies to ram breeders. I just want to be well enough for the bees.

…back on antibiotics a la OOH…not exactly service with a smile; lucky as it’s snowed here since 8. Smallest has been sent home (school taxi), OH here, just two to worry about as they’ll likely have to walk two miles uphill and, as usual, I bet neither took a coat :frowning:

Can’t truely say sheepies are ours but we help check them everyday and get a bit caught up in lambing and looking after the pet lambs. All ewes wandering around with multi-coloured back ends at the moment poor old rams are looking as well as I feel. I’ll ask around about the BFL fleeces - we have a local get together at christmas.

Cows not too keen I’m afraid- as a kid it was always my job to get the young bullocks out of the garden when they escaped (nightmare)and I used to have to milk the housecow who had a real attitude. Kind of put me off them.

Hi All

well - bag stays on for another week then hopefully they’ll remove it & do a pressure dressing. proper stoma nurse came to see me with massive box of bags, removal spray and powdery stuff to help protect skin so I now feel like a right OAP with all my wound & dressing stuff. Bonus though as went to carvery afterwards & scoffed massive roast dinner to make myself feel better. Actually that does sound very OAPish & we were surrounded by them - Oh god - I’m turning 90 before my own eyes hhhhhheeeeeeelllllpppppppp

God Jo that sounds so tasty full roast with all trimmings I expect. Don’t care about being seen as OAP just give me the food!! Lovely. Almost worth the stoma treatment. Take care
