Random question i know but has anyone bought a buff? If so how do you wear em? Also this neuropathy is another thing to look forward to then? Is it common? XX

“Mild to moderate numbness, tingling, burning/stabbing pain of hands and feet are common which can become severe with increased doses” is sensory (“touch nerves”) neuropathy with tax family of drugs. It is cumulative with doses over time if it occurs…starting as I have with tingly finger tips or toes so IS monitorable by your onc team one treatment at a time.

i got a buff
love it.
really compy n good as a sleep hatx

Poppy - I have a buff I use at work (or did use at work, and will do again one day…lol). Didn’t actually know it was called a buff until I looked up what buffs were…

Still not sure how I’d wear it as a hat? Where I work in a kitchen, I use it as an overlarge alice band, and can see how it would work as a bandana, but not sure how I’d cover up the bald bit at the back!!! Do you knot one end of it?

It’s got smiley faces all over it, and I’ve now got a bandana with smiley faces instead! Will have to dig buff back out though, cos it is comfy.

There are loads of infuriating you tube videos on how to wear buffs…all too fast but the rewinds work. I have two and two fleece ones… (and am knitting Peruvian chullos too). Can you tell I’m not a hat person? ;). But as I’m now score one alopecia after one FEC might have to put up with it even if I do keep the rest(ish) with the now colder caps…as I found yesterday.

Kaz are you supposed to put your head in one end and then tuck the other end into itself. Sorry if i sound thick its just the two open ends confusing me. X

wenna, nah your not thick, thats a good way of explaining.

My goodness they’re magic. Can even act as a boob tube!! Might have to invest and have a go. I like things that have multi purpose. XX

hahah i know, theyre ace.
camping and surf shops do them.

Night night sugar plum. XX

A lot of shops - like Blacks - do imitations and they aren’t as good. I got mine on ebay, free postage although still quite expensive easy to get the one you want. Will take ages to go through the patterns…the fleece ones can be twisted into a beanie with pattern out and in so no itchies. Or around your neck and over your mouth for bug control…yep, I did this in an M&S queue the other day…eugghy buggy people…only place to get what was needed sadly!

Yes I saw the beanie idea. Great!!! Only thing is if i like em i would want one to match every outfit. Seem a bit more modern than some of the scarves. I want to get something for bed as well. Saying all this what i really want is to use the cold cap and for it to work"!!! Xx

Ahhhhhhhh…now I know what a buff is and not only that, have just ordered one!
